MONTESSORI PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

Our Pre-Primary (Toddler) Preschool Program 

is for children ages 2 to 3 ½ offers opportunities to help children expand their language abilities, foster a strong foundation in social skills and self-regulation. In accordance with our philosophy, the teachers provide an age-appropriate curriculum with engaging activities in the classroom environment that help children gather information and make sense of the world around them. 

Our Primary (Preschool) Program

 is for children ages 3 ½ to 5 follows a logical sequence of materials and activities that allow children to learn at their own pace. The teacher's role is to provide the children with a prepared environment that reflects the topics of study and build up the activities that they master so that children can be continuously challenged while supporting their self-esteem, self-confidence, and long-lasting love for learning.

Our Preschool Transitional Kindergarten / Kindergarten Program is for children with a fall birth date or who need a little extra time before moving on to elementary school.

In accordance with the Montessori philosophy of an individualized approach, our qualified teachers track each child’s level, and acquisition of skills such as proficient age-appropriate reading and writing, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions.

We take pride in offering a beautiful preschool curriculum that connects the children with the world through experiential activities and celebrations from other cultures and countries worldwide. Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, Geography, Zoology, Botany, Music, and Art are part of our daily learning subjects and activities. 

The acquisition and understanding of Spanish is an important part of our curriculum, and children are exposed daily to phrases, conversations, subjects, songs, and games in Spanish.

Through our education in human values, children learn to recognize the importance of making good choices for themselves and everyone around them. Love, Truth, Peace, Right Conduct, and Non-Violence and their sub-values are discussed monthly and enhanced with meaningful daily life examples and interactions.

Preschool mealtime is a peaceful time for children to enjoy and share with their classmates while learning table manners, grace, and courtesy phrases. We offer a light breakfast, morning and afternoon snack, and a hot lunch daily. Meals are prepared in-house and are included in the tuition.

Preschool Outdoor time is regarded as a vital part of a child's development. Our well-equipped playgrounds offer various activities in which children can express their creativity and imagination during morning and afternoon recess time.

Educare Children's Center preschool events and activities include: Farm day, Pumpkin patch, Halloween Parade, Diwali, Stone Soup, Hanukkah, Christmas, Chinese New Year Parade, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter Egg Hunt, Mother's Day, Earth Day, Cinco de Mayo, Father's Day, and the 4th of July.
