Rossana Broll is the Founder and Co-Director of
Educare Children's Center in Corte Madera, CA. Her interest in teaching and desire to create a program for young children started in her childhood. Rossana was able to fulfill this calling in 2009 with the launching of Educare. She obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education in Guatemala, where she was born and raised until moving to California.
Before opening her own Children's educational center, Rossana was the director at a Montessori Center in Marin City that served infants through five years old. This experience exposed her to the Montessori philosophy, and her admiration for this method of education motivated her to pursue her Montessori Teacher certification. At this time, she learned about a structured curriculum in Human Values. Together with a Montessori approach, this program created a strong foundation that gave children the awareness to understand how their choices affect everyone around them.
Rossana also worked as the director for an Infant Toddler Center in Corte Madera, children ages newborn to three years old. This experience allowed her to create a Montessori environment for infants and young toddlers in which freedom of movement, exploration, and self-discovery was part of their daily routines.
Rossana continues to learn from experience, incorporating new ideas and programs that empower the school to evolve with our everchanging world. She remains committed to serving the Marin County community with quality care and holistic education for young children.
Jeanine Schock started with Educare in January of 2020, acting as Co-Director. Her interest in teaching began in 1986 while teaching ballet to young children in Pacific Palisades, California. Jeanine’s 30 years of experience is from a variety of school backgrounds. She was the Executive Director of Golden Poppy Preschool and Infant Center from 1992 until it was sold in 2019, serving children ages six weeks through six years old. There Jeanine conducted all business practices, managed a large team of teachers, taught parenting classes guiding families to a successful path.
Before working at Golden Poppy, Jeanine was the Assistant Director of Children’s Preschool Center, serving the families of Syntex Pharmaceutical Company on the Palo Alto Campus. She managed 72 staff members and more than 200 families.
Jeanine also worked as a Preschool Teacher at Malibu Methodist Nursery School in Malibu, California honing her skills with children, learning in-depth about the seven stages of child development.
Jeanine’s experience in child development is vast and deep, bringing richness to our program. Her specialties are child development, parenting strategies, business development, strategic leadership, and operations.
